New style Beaver Dam

Ther is a new style beaver dam tip-up for 2012. It is called the evolution and is a circle in shape instead of the tradition long  board. Uses all the same hardeware and is still made of wood.

Is it supposed to cover the hole to prevent it from freezing?

They do look nice but I think they are going to retail for $50 to $60 . Ill stick with my original Beaver dams with hole covers

X2, besides it seems hard to improve on the best.  I will be interested to read the reviews.

Saw some this week. Round plywood, Everything else the same as a regular Beaver dam. My prediction is Uncle Josh will kill the beaver dam line in the future. No proof just my opinion.

I see there are also new camo bever dams. They look sweet.
