I got a phone call last night from a buddy of mine from howell and we do a lot of big lake fishing together and walleye in the D and sag bay. Well he was calling because he was admitted into Providence hospital in Novo with a brain tumor on tuesday and he went under th knife this morning. He told me the docs gave him a 50/50 shot of making it. Life is just too short....

Last night when we talked he sounded as if everything was fine. His speach sounded great, his attitude was great, hell I just spoke with him in early feb about coho down in st joe.... Going to be a ruff day till this phone rings...

Very sorry to hear it. Keeping hope alive is my best advise. I speak from experience. My daughter was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor when she was 10. It was a rough ride. She is 19 years old now and finishing up her freshman year in college. I know There are lots of variables when it comes to tumors but thought a success story might show you that it can turn out ok! Take care man, and best of luck to your friend!

Well thank you everyone for praying for my friend. I got this text at 5;02am

Surgeon saved my life. What i had goes undiagnosed n kills you during sleep! Titanium plate in skull now; Praise God!:)

I spoke with jim today and he says he is in good sprits and can't wait to hit the big lake with me. Thank you Lord!

I guess he was having a headache and went to see his doc. They did a cat scan and found it.
