kinda late for scouting, been doin that for weeks now

Oh heck, with all the open water I'm just taking my dive gear and a spear.  I'll roll in a bunch of fish guts just before I drop in.  then I'll swim back under the ice inti I ge into the shallow water and lay quitely until a lunker bow mistakes me for the bottom.
