I just came across this website recently. I have fished Bellamy quite a bit from the Kayak during the soft water season for the past several years. I am now taking on the hard water. Pretty new to ice fishing but got out to Bellamy Res. this morning. Good 7-8 inches of ice and about 1-2 inches of new snow. I didn't get anything on the tip-ups but did get 2 crappie and 3 1/2 pickerel jigging before the rod shattered. (The 1/2 pickerel was when the rod broke.) And of course the other rods were at home. I am almost exclusively catch and release will will keep the occasional fish. Still, I had a pretty good time just getting out.
