Fletchers Pond

due to the lack of good ice down here in Indiana were thinkin of making a trip up to fletchers pond. never been there but have heard alot about it. do you guys have any recommendations on places to stay and any particular areas of the lake to concentrate our efforts on? thanks in advance!

Can't go wrong at Jack's Landing.

Yeah thats where we were thinking of heading. do you have to travel very far to get to any good spots from there or can you just walk on and set up?

I drove up there the last week in Dec and Jack's Landing is right on the lake as well as a public ramp and parking area. Easy access. Here's my thread about my time there. In the pic where I'm holding the small pike, you can see the public boat ramp in the back ground. I stayed at a hotel in Gaylord but i'm sure there's got to be something around Fletchers. Post your results!

thanks crappiehunter! and ill be sure to post the results after we go. probably wont be this weekend but hopefully within a couple weeks we'll make the trip!

We parked at the public access and walked out idk 100 yds and caught one pike.
