depends on how much you got, 2- 4" should be ok, wind will blow it away friday anyway

It will help to cool off all the open water on the big lakes. like putting a giant ice cube into them. these cold temps coming should ehlp to set them up nice

Over here we got about 4", but it was very windy and there's 2" in the driveway.  Double edged sword, I think. Don't want the snow, but the wind doesn't help when a lake isn't locked up.  :-\

Raining here for the past 3 hours and it will add to the weight of the snow on the ice, please use Extreme caution !!

Snowed all day at Lake X (LMNOP) yesterday. Picked up about 4" of it. Nice 8" of black ice. Hope you have a good day today.
