Got the hut on the ice
« on: Jan 02, 2012, 09:13 AM »
Took the hut out the other night and got set up.Sure is nice to have a nice warm place to fish and stove to cook on

The fishing is a little slow but we do manage a few bites ,usually after 4pm.Here is a walleye and sauger from last night

The wind is howling here today so I hope my hut is where I left it ,when I get there tonight
There is nothing better than the smile on a childs face when they see the fish come up through the hole.

That's great man, still not enough ice here. The walleye and sauger are about the same here too, don't really bite worth a crap until dusk, also get them at dawn too but not much action during the day.
