I dont really understand why they are lower the bag limit on rainbows so much.  First off they are a non native fish, secondly i haven't fished the finger lakes much for rainbows but i have on skan a few times in early april right off the shore and have done quit well guess i didnt think the population was that low when just going out off a limb and being able to catch a couple.

I like this one about the land locks:

Trout and salmon: Opens Blue Mountain Lake, Eagle Lake, Forked Lake, Gilman Lake, South Pond and Utowana Lake (Hamilton County) to ice fishing for landlocked salmon and reduce the daily limit for lake trout in these waters from three per day to two per day. This will create a suite of nine lakes in Hamilton County that will have the same ice fishing regulations for lake trout and landlocked salmon.

Really like the regs for blue, alsu. I've caught some nice salmon up there and had to let them go, but I guess that's not always bad.

Years ago people said the people that had summer homes didn't want the salmon kept in the winter. The reason was they were never there in the cold to fish for them.

Why is the limit on LL's (5) and statewide limit is (3)?   I also see that there is no change to Otsego regs.

I think the reg. to increase the Tiger Musky limit to 36" on Otisco stinks. It says for "Potential Trophy".
There have been plenty of Trophies caught over the years, including one real good one. There are 4 ice derby's a year on Otisco (most years), and in most years there aren't 10  Tigers that are taken from the lake from all 4. There have been many, many derbys where 1 32" Tiger wins the thing, and I think that's great. All this reg. is going to do is make less people participate, and I think that stinks.

Lets ask the DEC to make this change
Create additional fishing opportunities and have catch and release Walleye season for Oneida lake.
