Marquette County Walleye Lakes?
« on: Jan 10, 2012, 05:56 AM »
Anyone have any input on the inland lakes that have a decent walleye bite?  I know there are some in Little Lake, East Bass, and have heard of a few in Big Shag, and Greenwood Res, but would like a few more ideas as its 2 lost hours traveling to LBDN for a decent walleye bite.

Being from Gwinn it should only take about 45 minutes to get to the Kipling launch. It probably takes you that to get to greenwood. The only other lake around mqt that I've heard good things about that's public is little lake.

Ive had good luck on Little Lake but its a very long walk to the areas I've had luck at, I have access from a private owner. I would agree that going to LBDN is probably your best choice.
Good Fishin!!!

That's kinda what I thought, was just hopin' for a lake I haven't heard of.   Guess it's LBDN then.  Thanks!

We did pretty good on Fish lake in Champion last year but haven't been out there this year yet. LBDN is the way to go though.
