Don't know about Gillette but if you're headed to Casper anytime soon, They (Sportsmans Warehouse) had a Quikfish 3 and a Fatfish set up today and have them in stock.

Cabelas and Scheels in Rapid City, Reeds Sports has some good prices on shelters (Eskimo 767 FatFish I'm looking at!) with free shipping.

Anyone else ever wish they'd make something like a Quickfish 6 in camo with zip down shooting windows so it could serve double duty for fishing and hunting? Maybe it's just a dream of mine, but I think a 6-man pop-up blind for archery hunting turkeys would be pretty darn slick.

Welcome mitten, with like logo's, we are brothers.   Now if we were women we would have to run home and change our dresses. ;)

might have to sneek down there and take a peek this weekend. Also I was looking on Dick Sporting Goods last night and they have a pretty good shipping rate, don't quote me but it looks like to me I can get a Frabill Recon sent to me for only $6 shipping

I bought the Eskimo Fatfish 949i. It looks sweet set up in the living room! I think the insulation is going to be a huge plus. This thing is really roomy, almost 8' x 8'. Can't wait to get it on the ice.

Went by keyhole yesterday and ice was starting to form south in mule creek by the road and wind creek by the road and where belle fourche runs in.  I guess its time to give up on trying to get the boat out "one last time" and put it away for the year.   Last year I was fishing in wind creek 3 weeks before there was any ice on the other end.  I was on 5" of ice and could see open water to the north toward the main part of the lake.  As far as fishhouse, I got a otter cottage or magnum 3 man flip over from rocky mountain 2 years ago.  They had to bring it up from the Casper store but it was a pretty good price but if I had it to do over again I would not choose this one.

I got my ice shanty from Fleet Farm, one of the guys that I work with his brother was coming this way so no shipping.  I went with a clam Fish Trap Denali IV TC  and love it, sets up fast and is very mobile and the heating buddy that i have keeps it very warm for the kids and wife while we are out on the lake.  Have a hub style 4 man shelter, but like the clam because do not have to carry chairs and everything, plus had its own sled to put more gear in, just have to be careful not to get it too heavy to put in the truck or on the trailer.  I am able to put the propane tank and heater and jigging rods and a couple spare tip-ups in this sled so when I go to the lake that I can only have two poles all I have to do is grab the shelter and I am off fishing.  So I guess what I am trying to say is that I would go with a shelter that is easily set up and has everything ready to fish.  Hope this helps, come on ICE......

You should check out E-bay for all kinds of hard water accessories. Every once in awhile you will find a hut, heater, or even a new auger for a steal. Good luck in WY :)

Hope to see one set up at Cabelas tomorrow at the ice fishing day. May pick one up, either the 767 or the 949.
