I was there at 4 on sunday.I fished Chalet beach in the turny first and didn't even get a bite.Only one showed up on the flasher and looked at my live target for awhile and left.I have been out everywhere this year and keep getting skunked so I figured that I will try Lockport.
From 4 till 5 I caught 9 between 12 and 16 inch.2 where greenbacks,very nice.I also lost 3 half way up and I lost 5 other salties.
It felt great to finaly catch something.I even tried the live target for 10 minutes or so,that was a waist of time.
Lockport was also good because I didn't even have to bring out the gear, just rods, chair and minnows, there were holes all over.

Good to know, maybe I won't need the auger tomorrow.

Good to see that people are catching fish there. Were you guys fishing on the west side by the wall or further down by Cats on the red?

I fished by cats on the red on Saturday. One other portable out there. Could not get my heaviest jig to catch bottom even with added split shot. We saw many many anglers by the wall on the west side. reports say they did well.

went there a week ago with a couple of friends. lost count of the fish between the three of us and i managed a nice 24" walter. ran out of salties and went to a lindy darter with just as good results.
