Well I decide to follow some tips from fellow fishers but still not able to find a monster
Snow is very deep this year and getting around is harder because I gotta break trail once with machine then return and get gear. Sometimes I gotta bust trail with snowshoes then drive over

Next day Ise De Bye and I decide to meet up and fish Mercury lake....Yee haaw some company. More rods out = better chance for a monster.



No monsters this trip.

Ise De By phoned us up, unfortunatly he talked to my dad about coming, and of course he said no, without even asking me. I was quite P-OED. I have wanted to fish mercury l;ake for quite a while now, Looks like fun though guys. You'll get the big one sooner or later Terry!

I still had a great day, beautiful weather, saw a few moose, and caught my biggest laker to date throught the ice on a rod.    Oh and I got to snack on BC's yummiest taters on the way home       it was a good day.   Thanks for the invite bud

not for the lack of trying- tourney times endin quick, theres still time to find a monster- snows makin all the lakes hard to access-even the easy ones..

Yes definately hard access even the usually easiest ones are a workout. I have the next week off of work and I'm gonna make the most of it. As they say: Its not over till its over till strike 3.
