In all my years, as a semi pro-fisherman, holding the #3 slot in the ABA Nationals and winning a boat, motor, truck and sponsors on the 1000 Islands in NY,  have I ever heard such a preposterous campaign by any manufacture in the industry. Buy now, and then, we will endorse you. Sounds like bull-crap and a marketing ploy to foster sales. Shame shame shame!!!!!!

The old field tester crap is one of the oldest marketing ploys around. Buy stuff, or subscribe, and become a field tester, then they send you a handful of crap from the $1 bargain bin that they couldn't give away for free.

"Buy now, and then, we will endorse you"

Wow maybe they will even throw in some of there company stickers to paste all over your vehicle and gear.
Buy a sled for $99 and they will let you become a field tester. lol
You could build yourself a better smitty sled for $15

don't waste your money on the icetech reel, a halfway decent fly reel will cost you the same and probably be much more functional...

I still use an 1930's Pflueger fly reel, works awesome..although cannot find parts for it LMAO!!! And an old 1800's auger to ice fish........
