I am fairly new here and have been trying to stay out of a lot of the "BS" that has gone on lately but I have reached a point where I just have to speak my mind! Here goes....Yes some people seem a tad critical and sarcastic on this site
Yes some people have a lot of posts
Yes some people don't really contribute that much in what they say
Yes some people don't research other posts before asking questions and it seems repetitive
Yes some people seem to tell some fish stories or give inaccurate info (eg. my auger is great but does not start or a camera can see in murky water)
Yes some people have differences in opinions (eg. to keep or not to keep etc)
Yes some people may have slight personality conflicts with others
Yes some people have horrible spelling and many grammatical errors and do not even attempt to use the spell check tool
Yes some people have a higher education than others (I have 2 degrees, one being a Masters...that does not make me any better than anyone else)
Yes some people on this site are new and just learning so may not know the ropes yet
Yes some people have pretty poor English writting skills
Yes some people only seem to post about Lake Winnipeg
Yes some people seem to post things that may be irrelevant or just pure nonsense
And the list goes on and on,
BUT CAN'T WE ALL JUST TRY TO GET ALONG?Some good hearted banter and joking is funny and enjoyable to read but some of the comments lately are bordering on disrespectful and are in poor taste.
The one thing everyone should agree on here is that if you took the time to register for this site YOU ENJOY FISHING.........
SO CAN WE ALL TRY TO TREAT EVERYONE AS WE WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED!!!!!
I'm not trying to ruffle any feathers here, start a big on line debate, or single anyone out (heck, I'm guilty of some of the points I mentioned too) but this site was a lot better when I first signed up and everyones main focus seemed to be FISHING (and that was not too long ago).
Good Fishing Everyone and Be Safe Out There
