how much water is on the ice

by the way the weather has ben there might be enough water on the ice for white caps to moro how thick is the ice on carmi or on northern camplain and were are the fish

I just went out to the south side of the sandbar to save the HIllbilly Hotel and in some places there was 6" of water. Good thing i went tonight and didnt wait because it would of been a permanet fixture in the ice. I made it out on my ATV without any issue and had to move it and we ended up blocking it up 8". Things should freeze up good and be back out there with trucks by mid week.

It's supposed to be down close to 0 sunday night so that should really firm things up.  What a turnaround from last weekend.
