« on: Jan 07, 2011, 10:48 AM »
I moved this thread to the Indiana section from the general ice fishing picture thread. So I hope everyone enjoys... :tipup:

My first outing 12-28-2010{finally} did not do bad, but not real good either. Did manage to get some up on the ice though....

released this one, figured it had been through enough already...{dorsal fin}

Nice fish, nice spot.  Gave it away with the one picture.  Great size fish there, but not as good a bite as in years past.  I saw the picture of the 16" and wondered if I had been fishing near you guys over the last couple weeks.  Got a 17.5" two years back.  I know there are bigger.  Hope I get it, but I'm looking forward to the picture if one of you guys lands it.  TIGHT LINES.

Nice specs.  I recognize that spot as well.  There is a good chance I have been out there at the same time and just didn't know who you were.

Went out right after work with no success. I got 2 up on the ice, but it was all worth the time & effort. To enjoy all the great bounties that God created. :tipup:

Yea those hot crappie bites never seem to last long. I limited out dec 19th,20th,24th, than it steadily declined... but hey it was fun while it lasted.

Well just came off the ice, what a night. Got on the ice @ 11pm temp was 47 & wind was a howling  :-\ Had trouble locating the crappie when I finally got a few holes with marks nobody was hungry. I did manage to walk off the ice about 1:30am & the temp was 34. Got 5 silver babies. 1 that was around 14" :tipup:
