Is anyone going on a perch search this weekend? I am planning on looking for them Saturday and Sunday. Hopefully will have some pics to post.

Will be out there rain or shine!!!  ice or no ice!!!  Just kidding obviously, but i will be out there on saturday.  Fish are definately schooled up but no rhyme or reason to where ive been catching them.  Caught 1 yesterday in 22 fow on the bottom at the same time as one took my bass shiner on a tip up in 8 fow.  Go Git R Done!  and post your pics on the who can catch the biggest perch thread.  should see some more potbelly's in the next week or 2.

Perch search for sure this weekend. You can finally get around on ice decent without all the snow.
There is only one theory about angling in which I have perfect confidence, and this is that the two words, least appropriate to any statement, about it, are the words "always" and "never."

You have a quad and a snowmobile!  What gripes could you possibly have about snow?  ::)

Was on Wawasee Wed. and Thurs. with quads and a Friend is back out this morning ( I have to work ), a little slush but ice was still 10 - 12 in., Wed. ended with over 60 perch and Thurs. was a little slow, edges were fine yesterday at the ramp. found perch in 20-8 fow most coming out of 9-10 fow. and yeah there was a truck out there on wed.

Should be fine. If you are fishing a place that has flowing water, make sure to use commmon sense around incoming and outgoing flow areas.
