Does anyone know what the ice conditions are like on lakes surrounding Big River?
We tried to hit Ness Lake on Saturday, but there was so much slush, it was terrible. The snowmobiles were getting stuck and was quite scary!!! LOL! There was a patch of open water, which added to the panic.
We stopped and checked the thickness and it was about a foot (in one spot)... but not too convincing that it would be that thick all over the lake being there was an open spot......
Anyone have any reports?
