Fun on Fairlee
« on: Jan 31, 2011, 10:26 AM »
Finally got to ice fish lake fairlee, the lake i grew up open water fishing for over 20 years.  I set up around 10 and fished til about 2 on friday.  It was a lot of fun.  I took my fiance with me and she did pretty good, landing and unhooking her own fish.  I set up in about 10-16 feet.  I should have been a little deeper i think.  we only caught pickerel.  Still it was a great day!  tons of flags and about 12 pickerel.  We also jigged up a few pickerel.  I wanted other types of fish, but I cant complain because the action never stoped.  Im dying to get up to my cabin to fish it one more time this season.

Heres my camp!  love this place

Heres Cat trying to drill 14" by hand, a lot harder than it looks!

one of the better ones

I think she is finally getting the hang of it @)
