Good pickrel out to the left of the beach  behind the islands.   Haven't fished there in years since I moved out of the state, but still remember the spots. My boys are still down Jersey and do.

thinking about givin that lake a try this weekend       we usually do pretty good there    with all this snow wont be going too far out

Rode into the park a few days back on Saturday. There was a mob. Walkers, CC'ers and yes a bunch of fisher-persons. The one guy I spoke to said the lake had a foot of ice. Just keep in mind that in years past there have been bad sections, not sure about right now.
