Jack ices an eye
« on: Jan 23, 2011, 12:18 PM »
Was out at Bass last night and Jack caught his first eye,
the bite was slow. I caught a couple nice perch and a bass.
Had some gentleman(trying to be politically correct and not call him a name) pull up on his sled right at "primetime" 25 feet from my tip-ups then let his sled run for 1/2 hour while he was setting up his shanty then fish for about 45 minutes and fired up his sled and let it run while he picked up his gear. I dont get people like that. I would have said something but his kid was with him. the guy has a sled and and go anywhere on the lake and has to come over and ruin it for the 5 of us that were fishing out there

Anyway congrats Jack on your first eye

Glad to see you got your first Walleye Jack. It was nice to get out with you guys. Wish we would have had more luck. I was angry at the disrespect the others (fellas on the snowmobile)  had for where we were fishing. Showing up at prime time and making all kinds of noise.  Bass lake is huge and you got a sled, and you set up right next to us. I don't get it?  Lets try again Tuesday, see you all there.  ,Mark
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

WTG Jack. It seems that a 5lb walleye looks very small being held by a "large" man. Next time, try holding the fish further out from your body when taking the pic. ;D

Still, some fish is better than no fish.
