Cabeleas underwater camera
« on: Jan 15, 2011, 11:26 PM »
Anybody ever have problems with the camera? For some reason today my screen went dark and you can't adjust it at all. I called Cabeleas and they told me I bought it on Jan.5th of last year, but never said it was not of Warranty. The lady told me to box it up and send it back. It would be 3-4 weeks before I know something. In that amount of time my ice fishing might be over. Let me know Please if you have had this problem.
 Thanks
  Matt

I had this problem. Charged the battery and all was good. I love my camera, I've had it for 2 yrs and use it often. Good luck.

Thats the what I'm worried about. I just charged the battery two days before this happened, and maybe used it for 2hrs before yesterday. I will try chargeing again and see if that is it. Mybe the battery is going out? Thanks for the input and a ray of hope!

I just returned my brand new cam. The picture on the screen was fine out of the water on a freshly charged battery, but screen went dark as soon as it was immersed in the water. That was my first time out with it.

Charged up the battery and still so dark u only see slight images from about an inch away. I guess its going back. Just sucks that it will take 3-4 weeks to find out that is going on.

Mine is going back this week.  Great pic out of water but underwater can't get a good pic no matter how I adjust the pic have to be within a foot of jig to make it out. >:(

I am normally in 10'-30' water. But it doesn't matter with my camera. It doesn't give me a picture even out of the water.

7'-9' deep of water could see my jig down hole at least 5' according to the vex when I was experimenting with the camera don't think it's a water clarity issue.

Nope not a clarity issue, my Marcum works well even in light coffee stained with clouds and snow cover down to 22'.
