I was there. Obviously the fish weren't!  :o Weighed in one Northern that landed us into 17th...  worse fishing at that tourney in 9 years, but it was still fun! If you happened to notice the 5th wheel up in the back of the lot, that was me.

Not enough ice or time... not necessarily in that order.

You wonder how much fishing that lake can take?

there are more than enough perch in that lake to support the fishing pressure that it gets.  most people that go out and fish it are not pulling in limits.  There were 80 some teams in the tourney, about half of those were perch fishing, and only 8 tournament limits of 25 fish were brought in.  most people had less than 10.

the tourney as always an adventure. we caught 5 perch but didn't weigh em, figured that wouldn't be worth it. but we probably should have. oh well. we fished halis and genz worms, red maggots and waxies. had the camera down and could see all the perch in the area, they'd come up to the bait, and just look. now that's frustrating.

Hey welcome to the shanty run n gun.  Nice job on the tourney.  As cat stated, unless you moved around, it was a bit frustrating trying to get the fish to bite but there are definitely plenty of them.
Fish Fear me.....
