Very sweet.  That is exactly what I want to make.  Are you planning shelves or other storage?  Very nice.  Folding camp chairs or a leather couch!?!?!?!
Tight lines boys!  Tight lines!

thanks oldmill... I want to fish out of it a few times to see if/where I want shelves. And as far as stg goes I dont think i am going to make any stg areas as break ins are almost a regular on lake winnebago (wisconsin) so if I dont have anywhere to store items I wont leave any in the shack when I am not there.

I am seriously contemplating finding 2 smaller recliners to put in there. That way it would be super comfy and the shack could be slept in without bunks or cots

Finished!

First I would like to start off by saying thanks to everyone for all of their tips, advice, and comment. Have a great website like IS that has a good group of guys hanging on it made this project pmoreproductive and enjoyable. So to everyone on IS...thank you!!!!!!!!!!

I found out yesterday that i had less than 1" of clearance from the topp of the tires to the bottom of the trailer and upon further inspection ( i bought the trailer used form some guy) i found out that the axel was mounted upside down. Also, he didnt even have two u bolts holding the springs onto the axel. They guy that made the trailer had 1 threaded rod bent over the axt at an angle. THAT WAS IT! I should have inspected the trailer better before I bought it. Live and learn. So i had to redo the axle by mounting upright instead of upside down. Than mount the springs to the top of the axle for more clearance and install new hardware.  >:(

Than my 'ol man welded up a propane tank holder and I mounted that on the front. So its done! enjoy the pics!

Thoughts? comments?

If you look at the interior pics, I have the temp gauge at about waist level if you are sitting down and it will get to about 80 degrees if I turn the fan on and blow the warm air down. It will take about 15Min to get it to that temp also. After it is up to temp I can run it on low and keep it at that temp as long as nobody is in and out of the shack. I think on low I can run something like 100 hours or something on a 20 lb tank. I think I read that on the box when I bought it. The heater works freat and I would recommend it to everybody with a hardsided shack. I got it at fleet farm on sale for $109 or $119 I forgot.

hey fellas,

As some of you may have seen I bought an enclosed trailer that I am going to use as a shanty. As soon as I finish it i will be selling the shack that i built in this thread. I was just wondering what you guys think it would be worth. or what some would be willing to pay. It is only a year old so still in great shape. Just looking for some input. Thanks alot!

PS-everything will be going with the shack..catch covers, heater, rod holders, ect.....

What did you use for the floor? Bulk rubber or something else.

its rubber office flooring. Its just like rubber roofing but it has some texture so there is more traction.

What do you think I should put on it for a selling price. I was thinking along the lines of 1600 obo......too high? be honest.  :)
