how do you tie on droppers? inline, another line off the main line???

a small size 16 or 18 3 way swivel is a good way to go! not too much weight, and lets you adjust each section if needed, without retying the whole rig.

Typically I tie them in line using the main line. Allows me to make them any length I want. I usually tie up several of them ahead of time and use them as a sort of leader and store them. Just tie them on if and when I need or want to use them. Saves me from using additional hardware. Sometimes I'll also tie them right onto the Genz bug or similar jig.

I use a small removable plastic clip called a bear paw. It is a two part clip that you can clip off and on in seconds. You tie what ever length snell you want and the loop on the end fits into the plastic clip.
