Went to pactola this afternoon in the bitter cold. Set up in jenny gulch for an hour or two. It was sketchy at the inlet area, but once you got on the ice it was at least 14" back in there. Drove over the dam and the entire lake was open and white capped. Caught a small northern in 12 FOW. going to brave the elements again in the morning hoping for a decent pike or laker in 25-35 FOW with fresh minnows!! Will post a report!
