went to tarryall on thursday and was out by ramp. ice was pretty thick overall and seemed pretty stable. was slow at first but caught caught quite a few starting around 1:00. went to skaguay today on Christmas day and the ice was a good 12 inches. did not catch as many fish as we usually do and bites were small and slow. caught a few biger sized ones instead of the normal stockers. me and my brother also caught one small hammer handle pike a piece. weather was nice all day!!
