I've been wanting to try my luck on Oneida Lake for years and this will be the year to take the plunge. You see I'm from Cheektowaga, NY just outside of Buffalo, my problem is like I mentioned before is I haven't been there before, can someone tell me what side of the lake is better? Is there any bait shops around, you see it will be a long drive and I want this to be a memorial experience. I usually use 1/32 oz marmoska jigs tipped with a spike when I'm fishing for ringbacks on other lakes and bays, is there a favorite kind of lure that someone might prefer?
Thanks and good luck fishing.
