Plan checking out this lake on sunday I went here last year at the end of the season and my son caught a couple pike. I grew up in Lewis County and only ice fished once on this lake so now I moved back to the area and am looking for some other spots to try. So Im wondering if anyone has been here or fishes in this area? Or if anyone fishes some other lakes in Lewis County could let me know a place I could take my boy, thanks.

Hmm I fished there about 15 years ago had caught a few nice pike. You could try on the black river. I've caught some monster pike and heard there is some good eyes near castorland

Ended up not going today couldn't get auger running till the afternoon, had to clean carburetor out. I have always been a little weary of black river growing up in the area and hearing all the stories. Do you remember were that dead tree was out in the middle of pleasant lake? I remember there was always nice pike around there but that was about 16 years ago.
