got out saturday with Leavinsorlips and Gillgetter. here are some pics.

Very nice!  I have about 30 new gill pills on the way... what size were you using?

Nice fish ;D I wish I could get out.  Still < 1 inch where I'm at.

Dang!!  ;D Thank god I got size 10-14 in my favorite colors then (and a few 8's, as well). 
I wish I was good at ice fishing!

They must bite the head off the first fish they catch? Old Norwegian good luck thing, I think.

i belive that is probably a leaf sorelips had in the bucket to make it heavier ;) we had a great day on the ice at a place that seems to produce nice fish year after year. woulda had more but can't lie when the rain started i didn't feel to great bout standin on ice 2 1/2 in. thick pluse the 31 i had was more than enough to clean. switched colors a couple of times in the day starting with black then to yellow and on to pink when i left sorelips and rjflynn to continue with the slaughter. most gills came off the bottom and the crappies suspended fished water that was 5 to 14 ft but that dont say alot because the lake we fish is only a little over 20 ft. max. will say a lot of fish were shalow tho. had a great time fellas can't wait to get back at it. maybe hit the walleye and perch spot if the snow don't mess it up  :icefish:
