They do not make them anymore. At least not that I can find.  I have a bunch of them that I inherited from the old man. They work great wish the still made them

They were made by Blue Fox, and are called Foxie Jigs.  Sometimes you see them in "closeout" bins in off the wall shops.

Other than in my jig tackle box, it has been a while since I have seen them anywhere.

I would really consider calling Rapala.  They have always been good with answering all the off-the-wall questions I come up with.

Hello to everybody. I am new to the ice fishing shanty board. I am an avid fisherman. I fish all fish and do it all year long. I would say that my passion is ice fishing for Perch and Walleye. I notice you guys talking about the foxy jigs that are no longer made. I do have an alternative that I think fishes even hotter than the foxy. When I can figure out how to put pics on I'll share some catches. These grubs that I have found are made by Maniac Custom Lures. They are small like the foxy jig. They are called gizzy bugs.  This last year he came out with a new one a little bigger size called a gazilla. My catch rates have soared. The gentleman that owns the company his name is James and he is happy to do mail orders all over the united states. My favorite colors are the glo colors pink, orange, and reg. glo. I also like the natural colors white, brown, green, and black. He also makes a custom jig called the vertigo. It is unique it is flat and it falls fast and the jigging action is second to none. I love them. My saying is I don't leave home without them.I hope to be around and contribute whenever I can. Let me know if you have any questions. Be sure to share with me your experiences when you do get them. I love to hear.  ;D

I caught my first Sauger on a Foxie jig at yellowtail a few years ago. The reddish pink one.  They have mini bbs in side of the jig head.  I found some at shiptons a couple years ago. I also found some on outlet bait .com

Send Pete (Whiptail) a picture, maybe he will make a replica...
If I\'m not fishing, I\'m probably thinking about fishing...And if I\'m thinking about fishing, I\'m probably not getting much else done so, I might as well go fishing...Yeah, I just said that!

Near as I can tell they quit making them.
Here is a possible avenue you can explore if you cant find any to buy.It may cost you a fair amount of money to get geared up for it but you can make your own.  Check out Janns Netcraft.(www.jannsnetcraft.com) They sell blank lead casting molds that you can have machined to the jig body you are trying to replicate. They also sell plastic injection molds as well, darn near any color and shape you can imagine.Long story short you could buy some of the gear and make as many as you need. If you have any left over you could always sell them to guys here on the forum to recoup some of the costs of the equipment.  ;D

Keep us posted on what you come up with.
