Red Feather Lakes

Drove up and checked out the ice conditions, 4-6" of perfect ice on west lake and parvin lake! going up tomorrow (saturday) to see if we can catch a few!

Heads up...Parvin is artificial only.  I have never done real well there, but it is very rewarding when you get into fish there. It has nice brown trout, some rainbows, and even splake.  We always did really well at West and Dowdy for small fish.  Try going up the road a ways and give Bel-aire a try.  It is one of my favorite places up there.  You have to walk about a quarter mile to get in so it isn't as pressured.  Good luck!

Fished Dowdy today, 2-4:30pm. very productive about six and a half inches of ice. Fished in water about 12 feet deep. caught six and could see alot of other fish toying with my jig.

Hi im new to the forum and im up in cheyenne but im looking for some places down across the border for some lake trout and was wondering if you guys knew of any place close. any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated its my secnod year ice fishing so im just trying to figure it all out.
