Lakemaster CD-Rom
« on: Nov 21, 2010, 04:08 PM »
Has anyone used the Lakemaster CD-Rom?  I have a handheld Garmin Venture, and I would like to get the structure maps this year.  The Venture doesn't have the SD card slot like the H2O does. Its an expensive piece of software to purhcase if it will be hard to read on the Garmin.

Havent used the cd-rom but have a LM and Navioncs chips for my gps units and if you have a Navionics optin I would look at that over Lakemaster, I was highly dissapointed in mine.

I don't think Navionics is compatible with Garmin's.  I didn't realize there maps were that much better.

I got sucked into the LM hype and got onethis fall for my yearly muskie hunt to Vermilion in MN, used it 3 hours and went back to my 3-4 year old Navionices chips, to me there was a huge difference.
