Poly or Wool undies?
« on: Sep 21, 2010, 09:21 PM »
Looking for some new underwear this season and was wondering what you find to be the warmest.  Wool?  Polypro?  Something else?
There are so many choices on the market today that it gets confusing.  Always good to see what works from those who already use it.

Gill,

Wool was always the goto stuff as it stayed warmer when wet. But the new goods have wick-away capabilitities that keep you warm even after working up a swet on the long haul. Wool can be a reat layer, but use Poly or other wick-away as a base layer. Particularly for your feet.
