I try to run something for a while so it drains it down some then top her off at least 1 every month.So far I have got decent mileage out of my battery's. Even do it to the boat battery in the winter or take it with me on long trips so I dont run out of power on the ice

I use my battery all year. I use a small cooler and its all wired so it will power my row boat lights, GPS, and fish finder. The cooler is just big enough for two 7ah batteries, but I only use one most of the time.
