missed some nice ones on sat. had a big largemouth straighten out my swivel and brake off and a decent brown break the line under the ice picking up.

very slow day for the derby caught what i thought was a pig perch until i saw the board..........just gonna say wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

also got my first ever smallmouth through the ice. couldn't have asked for better weather though. hope everyone enjoyed it out there.

it was the slowest fishing i have ever seen  3 flags all day all took the bait  but no fish  freind jigged up a few perch and the ole man jiged up a couple no monsters  all around 10 inches pulled the shanty off and going to trailer it home this week  but yea the perch on the board were huge and the bass were to but the pike and trout realy were small i figured at least  5-6 pound trout would win it  and what was the pike 7 pounds or something like that  wow wurse frosty i have fished  but now we can look  for next year to be better  i hope lol

Got the number 2 perch at 13.5 inches and 1.37 pounds, missed 1st by .03 lbs  :o  Much better than the last time I fished it but that wasn't hard to do since I never caught a fish the last time :P  Only ended up with 11 perch and 2 15 in northerns but I guess quality was better than quantity today ;) Strange how Bass and perch were good quality but a 3.4lb brown and a 5.5 ish lb northern took 1st in their categories.  Nice to meet you today Hunter 13!  Good fishin

i got a really nice smallmouth and a perch along with a few other smaller fish thought both fish would make the board and nothing.  the perch was 1.28 lbs .04 lbs off of third place.

I was there this weekend. You guys dont talk to much. I tryed to find shanty members but most new I was out of state. Its a lake I have icefished every year in March the last three years. Hope to meet some off you next year.  I got two small yellow perch in twenty feet. That was all for me in two days.

i draged my shanty off yesterday. be carefull at the launch at the state park. stick hard to the right or to the left. the water is really shallow anyway but to get a shanty or a 4-wheeler stuck would mean a wet start to the day.

Ice seems to be holding up ok, old holes are starting to rot but for the most part it should be fine if you are walking out for a little while yet.  Stay away from the dark spopts.  Fished by the channel last night with only a couple bites and one crappie landed.  Good Fishin
