We fished it Saturday- it wasn't great either. We got maybe 40 perch between 5  of us. Lots of ice but the wind was a bit annoying.

Same as above.  We caught 30 or so perch and one nice rainbow between 3 of us.  I have fished they bays for pike but have never fished the main lake before.  Are there always that many fingerling perch?  I bet we only caught 8 perch worth keeping...

They're running smaller this year for sure- and more finicky as well for some reason.

My brother was up there last weekend and caught three pike on the dam as well as some perch and 2 rainbows that took his perch jig as it was dropping.  We have had much better luck pike fishing the shallow bays on the back side of the res. in about 10 or so feet of water with our smelt 3-6 feet under the ice.  One morning last winter we caught 15 pike with over 30 hits on the tipup.  the largest was 6 lbs.

Went to Pishkun today.  Had real good fishing until 11 when the wind switched from the north to straight out of the east.  Could not have asked for a better morning weather wise though.  Caught some bruiser perch and one nice 3lb rainbow on a little pink ice jig that fought like he weighed 10 lbs.  Caught him about 5 ft below the ice.  The perch were on halis and maggots.  There has to be 20+ inches of ice up there right now... Gas auger was on the fritz so I had to use a hand auger.  Didn't drill too many holes ;D Had to get on one knee to finish punching my holes.

I fished it yesterday and did extremely well on the pearch but could not for the life of me catch a pike.  Rumors said that there was a ten pounder caught yesterday but i did not see it.  I was in a group of four and had about 14 tip ups and a not one flag went all dayl. A gentlmen next to us caught a little pike by accident on a little jig but that was the only one i saw all day.  But pearch fishing was great all day and really good size to them.  We where fishing for the pearch in fairly deep water anround 54 to 42 feet.

I was up Yesterday as well.  our perch fishing was hot only for about 2 hours and we were shallower than that... maybe 30-40 ft.  I don't have anything to accurately gauge depth, but we caught some hogs to say the least.  It was my wifes first time jigging for perch and she showed me how it was done!  The guys next to me on the NE corner of the dam had some tipups out but I never saw a flag up in the time I was there.  We did catch 2 rainbows as well about 8 ft under the ice.
