Dam to Dam

Dudes....first year dam to dam....any tips/hints? Do you guys use tip-ups much? What types of fish are in there, everything?

I heard the winner was a 40" Northern from a buddy who was there. I did a seperate tournament and did AWEFUL!

YEah a 40" and some change Northern, a 14" perch and thats about all I remember lol...

 I caught a 30" Northern the day before and lost a monster Musky, the day after I caught a 29" Northern and this morning I caught 2 11" wallys and my daughter caught a 24" Northern.

 Any place you can get access to the water is good. Just look for weeds and structure.

Hilltop sells bait. I was using a 3' leader of 15lb floro on my tipups. Set a shiner 18" off the bottom.
