I went out with my 7 year old to day and let him pull in all the tipups(had to tie on 3 new hooks)  I ran into an old friend out there and he let my boy pull in ther only flag that wasn't a minnow trip.  Un forutenly he didn't manage to get any to the hole but he did have fun.

Nice job! My 8yr old and 2 1/2 yr old love to fish, once they get one through the hole they will be hooked forever just like us!

He got a crappie last year on a trip with him, me and Grandpa whare we got skunked.  He still brags about it.

My 2.5 yr old caught 2 perch the other day and says I got two five shishies! He thinks he is the best fisherman in the house! He was also "shooting" deer in the living room lastnight... the ones on the wall!

Speaking of shooting, we had a northern laying on the ice(I finily had to pull one in to show him how to do it) and we saw an eagle flying way over head and he told me we should have brought his BB gun to keep the fish safe if any birds try to take it.

Two years ago IceFreek got home from icefishing all day with his then 6-7 yr old son. They stopped by my house on the way home to give a report and bs a little bit.  He asks Colby to tell me what he learned to day.... He says I learned that if I go fishing with my dad I wont catch anything!!!! This wasn't what Ice Freek was referring too so after a laugh he asks him what he learned about the wind.... he says oh yeah!! you souldn't pee into the wind.... Guess he got in the truck just drenched!!!
