Manitoulin Island ice fishing

I was wondering if anyone has ever ice fish the lakes on Manitoulin island, we would go there late September early October perch fishing, we would fish lake Manitou or Mindemoya lake. Always had pretty good luck with the perch. Always wanted to come back up ice fishing.        Thanks Rick

I lived on the island for ten years i fished the summer but not the winter time but alot of my friends do and the fishing in the winter is pretty good. alot of people fish manitou and mindemoya during the winter.

Thanks for the infor, it has been about 5 years since we have been up there. We would stay at Hutchinson at Sandfield and fish Manitou.

No problem, I havent been back to the island in about 6 years now kind of miss the place and my friends to, had alot of good times there.
