man them are some huge perch in the tourny thread!!!
« on: Jan 21, 2010, 11:46 AM »
i was just checking out the 2010 tourney thread. and i was in aww at some of the nice perch. some to mention are the monster by bigsteelie and right under  him is c.c. both have nice and i mean nice perch. i would take that 15" over a 15" walleye any day. if i could catch fish like that or even close to that on a regular basis i think i would spend more time perch fishing. unfortunatly where i live i have to travel along way to find a lake that holds them that big.

congrats to all the tourny entries they are all wonderfull fish and even if you don't win you have definatly got yourself a prize.  can't wait till next year i just signed up on the sight and missed the entry date.
yes it's true i am a HARDWATER HOOKER!!!

Word.  I've never caught perch that big, they're slobs.  The Crappie were impressive too

The employment of effort, hard work, time, and energy put in locating fish will offend noone.

Americanfisher77, Go to:www.perchmasters.com/ and look at those perch. We fish the finger lakes region in New York and 12-15 inch perch are very common. When the time is right, a limit is easly take in a few hours.

Yes some nice fish, used to fish Devils Lake in the Jumbo hay days there same thing 12"-15" all day long used to be no limits remember seeing out of staters coming ofF the ice with three coolers full. Now the lake has turned to more of a walleye fishery and the no perch limit caught up with the lake!
