              There is open Water near the Road By the Bridge its been above frezzing all week, I live down the road near Tarklin and another private pond, they are small and I drilled a test hole near the shore the top layer was slush mixed with soft white ice with hard ice on underneath. I would WAIT for stump to re FREZEZEZ !!!!Thats just  my opion I wannted to go also my buddie talke me out of it he said I should have ice picks/ The ice at stump was great until SUN....Dont FORGET Stump is Big With a CURRENT SLOW but SHURE and will also have an affect on the ice also in combo with the ABOVE FREZING Weather.....Wait for the RE FREZE    BARCH

The ice is fine ,just a bit soft near edge's about 6 -7 inchs .
