I have the Frabill Recon.  Has portable chair.  Love it so far.  Lots of room for stuff and perfect for run and gun set up quick.  Buddy just got the same thing!  For lightweight portable one man its great.

I think the Recon DLX is supposed to have a built in seat.  The regular Recon like I have does not.  It only
has a foldable portable seat which I like because you can use it anywhere.  Check out Frabill's website

I saw one tonight at Dicks like yours. I think it's the same material but just doesn't have the bench seat. How much did you pay for yours? They wanted $179 for this
one. They have one at gander mountain for $199 with the bench seat. We'll have to think about it.

I picked it up at Dicks for 179 minus 15% off for sale they had going and another 10% off because I bought the floor model.
Got it for 140.  I really like it so far.  Its def. a one man but very light and easy to pull around.

Are you able to carry your equipment in the sled? My biggest problem is carrying a
gas auger on and off. I usually have a sled,Vex,bucket and auger. I didn't know if
there is anyway to carry the auger on this sled. I think it weighs 27 lbs.

Mine has the portable seat (not fixed) as well.It gives you more room in the sled because the chair collapses down.I fit all this in mine + more, and even had a power auger on it,it all fits....... ;)

I like mine alot and will never be without one ever again!!!I like the color as well, beats blue IMO... ;D

I agree with Corporal.  I carry bucket, pack basket, bait bucket, folded up chair, auger, x67c and
sometimes my buddies stuff.  plenty of room.

Sound like maybe I should get the one with the fold up chair. Or do you think with the fixed seat I can get all my gear in there with a seat going across?

Im really not sure about that seat.  Maybe some stuff could fit underneath it.
The portable one is comfortable though.  It has a backrest too

They should be going on clearance soon too. You would think. They both have the same exterior material correct? If you look at them on line the regular recon material looks shiny ??? Don't know if that just in the picture or what. The two I looked at both had the same material so I kinda think it was a picture issue.

It's the gas auger that's causing the issues but it will make up for it when it starts drilling! ;D
