Well my girlfriend and i were on the topic of ice fishing and she just doesnt understand the point and she thinks standing out on the ice trying to catch fish is just stupid. Well after trying for about 15 minutes to convince her to go she says "NO, I'm not going!" followed by "Ice fishing is a man thing, Anytime you give a man a rod and a hole he's occupied for hours!" I finally gave up and headed to the lake on my own.

Bah... I can't get my wife to fish, ice fish, camp, hunt, shoot pool, bowl or just just go out on the boat with me.  It sure as heck doesn't stop me from doing it though.  I just consider it all "Me Time" and I enjoy it all the same. 

I do feel sorry for her sometimes because I think she is missing out on a good time, and once summer comes along... we don't see each other all that much.

My wife is the same way.  I am very careful to call to tell her I am on the way home.  That way she can Pedro the pool boy out of the house before I get home.  It prevents awkwardness. . .
