Thanks for the unity pond info. I know someone near where you mentioned and think I can get on there. I've got a bunch of mousee grubs, little emeralds and little lures. I grew up in NY catching hundreds of big yellow perch, some crappies (calicos down there) and lotsa walleyes. I really miss the walleyes and 14" +/- yellow perch.
Maybe I'll see ya out there sometime. I'll be the guy sittin on bucket with two jiggin rods goin. 2#test oughta do it when I find 'em. Thanks Again! Happy Fishin!

Bee if you don't come up with anyone to give you a hand I may be able to take a look at it for you. Time away is the tough one for me right now, but by all means let me know if you still need help.

Why would this topic be moved out of the Maine section?  I would assume that you are looking for someone local to look at your sled.

Exactly! I've been seeing some odd locations threads are being moved to lately and have even asked in PM's why and got 'no response'.

Example:
Someone started a thread and asked how to drill a hole straight rather than slanted and the thread went from the General forum not to Equipment but to Off Topic? Off Topic is where unrelated topics to ice fishing like sports, camping, hunting etc, belong. So how is drilling a hole crooked Off Topic to an ice fishing forum?!?!

Bee,
Can you find a service manual for your sled? Maybe eBay or Amazon? I'm sure there is a few things to check and a manual would help you narrow it down.
