My guess is it is probably about the same as Little Beaver, had friends fishing it last year while I was at LBSP. Difference in thickness between the two was only around 1/2".

I noticed it got stocked today, If you hear from anyone that's been, please post on the thickness if you find out. I'm heading that way Sunday as long as the ice remains....unless they get LBSP tomorrow.

I talked to a guy this evening who's buddy fished it today, he said there was 6.5" of ice there and his friend didn't get a hit, I'll be there Sunday, wasn't planning on taking my flip-over but with the rain in the forecast I'll be setting in the hut. Tight Lines!!

gwebb, I also went down today, the bite was slow today ,I caught 8 and my buddy caught 3 on flashy jigs, tipped with waxworm, fished right off the bottom .Some were caught on black hair jigs also. Most of the ice i saw was around 5 to 51/2 inches, lots of water in places when i left from the snow melt. Good luck if ya go and be safe.
GOD BLESS

Made it down there today, fished from aroune noon until 5pm, only caught 4, lost another at the hole, missed around 10 or so. All small ones so they swim another day. Ice was quiet, 4.5 to 5.5" of ice. Thinking about heading back in the morning.

Just got back, the ice is in good shape, around 4.5" of clear ice with another 1 to 1.5" of white ice on top, some parts have a good bit of standing water, you will have to watch out for some of the swimming hole from the ones that chopped holes with axes, I saw a couple that were 18" around. Didn't have any luck though, only showed 2 fish on the Vex in 2 hours fishing. The last 30 minutes was setting in the rain so I called it a day. The edges are getting chewed up by the rain though. I'm planning on going in the morning, taking a plank with me so I can get out if the edge is in much worse shape than when I left. Tight Lines and Be Safe!!

Ice is still good, still almost 5". The level of water did raise about a foot or so. Had to walk a plank out to the ice, gaps between the bank and ice are between 2 and 5 feet or so. Had a decent bite early this morning, ended up only catching 7 and broke one off, missed three times as many as I caught though.
