do what i did, i went out and bought a new 10 LBS. propane tank. it weights about 11.5 LBS. and I'll get all season out of it plus i can hook it to my Barbi and use whats left in it on that. not a big deal it doesn't take a whole lot of room in my sled. it's as tall as a 20 but it's not as wide. i leave it in the sled and run the hose to what I'm doing. 1 LBS problem solved. you can let the pros refill it for about 10$.

It's called a propane distribution tree http://www.coleman.com/coleman/colemancom/detail.asp?product_id=5115-775T&categoryid=27401&brand=.  It hooks to the valve on a tank ans then you have three gas outlets...put your lantern on top, run a hose to your buddy heater and run another hose to your camp stove.

PerfectFlow™ InstaStart™ Compact Lantern
Model No. 5132-A50
try this instead hook the hose right to the bottom and hang the lantern from you shelter with the chain. if the chains not long enough buy more at wal-mart in the craft or lighting section

I can be instaled with the pole running horizontal...you then just use one of the middle outlets.  It keeps the lantern the same hieght of the tank you are using.  Just set the tank outin front or off the side of your one man.

And how do I flip it over with that bar in the way?
