Lake owasso near little canada?

I fished this lake last year with lots of luck so I called a gas station near by to see if there is any truck traffic on it yet. The guy said no way, haven't you heard? Heard what I said, he said the lake was on the news because it has poor oxygen levels so the fish are swimming up for air or something then freezing in the ice. Said there are thousands of fish frozen and dead that you can see from small to 40 inch muski he said.

Has anybody else heard of this? If so, what do you know? How bad is it?

Yes there was a big fish kill I have heard of a few people out there with no luck dnr said something about to much oxygen when it froze or something like that
