lowrance hds for ice fishing?

just wanting to know if anyone is using the new lowrance hds series for ice fishing or is it even possible to make them work for the ice.

they should work great. my dad has one and was able to purchase an ice ducer for it. i think it cost him $50. i use a lms 337 and it is awesome!

Yeah.. I used my hds-7 last weekend.. I don't have the ice ducer yet, but you can find them on LEI if you look under the HDS-5..

Here's my portable setup. I have a transducer pole w/ a skimmer that I use as a portable rig in the summer.. The boat has the hds-7 and an hds-10, but I think the 10 would be a little big for ice fishing.  ;D
