if the falling temp. would make ice on the lake instead of my water pipes it would be great.

This is ice makin' weathah. I got the secret pond in mind, go check it this weekend, maybe fish it Monday.

Seriously, how long does it take to make ice? Say theres a skim of ice over it yesterday, then 3 days of temps like these how much will be there after the weekend?

I used to figure an inch a day with open ice(no snow) and 0- +10 at night

fished yesterday with 4.5" and today was about 5.5" to 6".
